Artespañol in the heart of Barcelona! Situated at 271 Calle Provença, at the foot of Gaudi´s “La Pedrera” (Casa Milà), on the corner of the maginificent Paseo de Gracia avenue, the restaurant-wine bar Artespañol proposes typically Spanish fare. This specialist “Paelleria”, a heretofore unexploited concept, proposes a combined menu of more than 10 traditional paellas and fideuas that follow original recipes. Customers even have a choice of rice in the making of their paella – round-grain rice, long-grain rice or whole-grain/brown rice. Developed in-house using only the finest ingredients, the paellas and fideuas are prepared and cooked to order by the Paellero. The paella is the most celebrated and most appreciated Spanish dish in the world. It is the ideal dish to enjoy with family or amongst friends. Artespañol also proposes a large choice of tapas from the four corners of the Iberian Peninsula, with an impressive menu, which has a tendency towards the region of Andalusia, but also towards the region of the Mancha, and the region of Catalonia… with more than 50 typically Spanish tapas.

HOW DO WE PREPARE OUR PAELLAS AND FIDEUAS

SOFRITO
A sauce made with sautéed vegetables, fresh tomatoes, red and green peppers, onions and garlic

VALENCIAN RICE
It is a variety of round-grain rice, also known as Valencian rice or ´Bomba´rice, whose principal use is in the elaboration of paellas

FISH STOCK
A stock made from fish and vegetables for our seafood paellas and fideuas

MEAT STOCK
Natural meat and vegetable stock for our meat paellas and fideuas

100% NATURAL VEGETABLE STOCK
100% natural market vegetable stock for our vegetable paellas and fideuas

FIDEUAS
A dish prepared like a Paella but with small noodles as a substitute for the rice
